Andrea B. Williams

Mrs. Williams was a native of Chatham County who attended Spencer Elementary, Shuman Middle, and Savannah High Schools. She began teaching in 1977 and was employed at Isle of Hope, Largo-Tibet, Hodge and Windsor Forrest Elementaries. She transitioned to administration and was promoted to Assistant Principal of Pooler Elementary. She was promoted once again, as Principal of Garden City Elementary. A proud moment for her was to become the Principal of Spencer Elementary; her childhood elementary school. Under her leadership, Spencer moved from a “needs improvement” to a “Title 1 Distinguished School” in just three years.
