Field Trips

Since 1978, Massie has pioneered placed-based education in Savannah. Our educators offer guided programs for learners of all grade levels. Massie's programs include walking tours and in-museum field trips, which are available to public, private and homeschool students in the Coastal Empire. We also offer in-school experiences to Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools. As a educational unit of the SCCPSS, all of our programs align with Georgia Standards of Excellence.

All programs must be booked by telephone 2 weeks or more prior to the program and must meet a minimum number of participants. Please call (912) 395-5070 for more information and to schedule your next field trip or program. Program times are limited and subject to scheduling and availability.

Our Heritage Educators will also work with teachers to develop custom programs using our exhibitions and collections. Custom programs are at the discretion of the Heritage staff.
