Do you have an object or papers you are interested in donating?

Massie Heritage Center adheres to a strict donation and collections policy. Curatorial and collections staff consider each item on a case-by-case basis to make determine if the donation aligns with the museum's mission, existing collections and academic interest, and if it fills in much needed interpretive, archival, or educational gaps.

We are especially interested in the following pertaining to Massie School (1856 - 1974), Freedmen's schools in Savannah (1865 - 1872), Savannah-Chatham County Public School district (1866 - today), and past and present schools in the Savannah school system:

• yearbooks
• class photos
• report cards
• teacher grade sheets
• administrative paperwork
• annual reports
• school memorabilia
